Fake calls have been made in the name of Finantsinspektsioon this week from the number 53112084. People are told that their data have been accidentally entered in the register of fraudulent brokers and are then offered help in removing those data from the register. Finantsinspektsioon states categorically that these calls have not been made by any of its staff and advises that they be ignored.

Scam emails are being sent out in the name of Kilvar Kessler, head of Finantsinspektsioon, from an address ending @ee-fi.com. The emails are frauds, and Finantsinspektsioon urges people to be vigilant and not to open such emails.
