The Commissione Nazionale per le Società e la Borsa (CONSOB) warns savers that the companies of the “Binance Group” are not authorised to provide investment services and activities in Italy, not even through the site www.binance.com whose sections called “derivatives” and “Stock Token”, relating to instruments related to crypto-activity, have been previously drafted also in Italian.
Therefore, the attention of the public is drawn to this circumstance and savers are invited, more generally, to use the utmost diligence in order to make investment choices in full awareness by checking in advance that the websites through which the investment is made are attributable to authorised parties.
We also invite you to exercise the utmost caution when carrying out transactions on crypto-asset-related instruments that may result in the full loss of the sums of money used and we recommend that you always follow the general rule of considering adherence to contractual proposals only when you have an adequate understanding and only when they are backed up by clear and complete information also on the identity of the contractual counterparty that may propose itself as a service provider.
In any event, it is important that savers are informed that transactions in crypto-asset related instruments may present risks that are not immediately perceptible due to their complexity, the high price volatility of such instruments and the malfunctions and cyberattacks to which the IT infrastructures used for such transactions may be subject.
